How can you know?  I myself suffer from a lack of motivation specifically because my efforts to improve my own lot are divided between me an others, and those others put their &quot;legal share&quot; of my efforts toward ends that make my life worse.

I believe the equal division you promote will have both effects.  I would choose to remove the enforcers of any system rather than install them. If that system were designed to provide equally to everyone, wouldn&#039;t the natural human tendency to favor oneself and ones own loved ones over everyone else mess it up?  I believe the only way to prevent that tendency to be self-centered is to crush the individual spirit.  That, to me, is evil.  I get a long better with self-centered people than with anyone else.  Maybe I&#039;m too mature or grown up?</description>
